At the New England School of Acupuncture (NESA) at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS), you will be immersed in the tradition of acupuncture and Chinese medicine in a modern environment. You will train under the direct supervision of our distinguished faculty, learn how to assess and diagnose patients, design and implement treatment plans, and provide compassionate patient-centered care.
At NESA, clinical opportunities are an important part of your education. You will gain hands-on experience at our on-site Acupuncture Treatment Center or at clinical rotations across New England. Upon completion of the program, you will be equipped to serve as a valuable member of an integrative healthcare team.

Flexible Learning Options
Pursue your acupuncture degree on our Boston campus or Worcester campus. Coursework is completed online during live, synchronous sessions. In-person experiences provide hands-on learning, faculty mentorship, peer collaboration, and clinical training.
Boston—Evening & Weekend Flexibility
Newly launched for working professionals and career changers, this hybrid program offers the flexibility to attend weekend classes in Boston while completing evening coursework online. Located in the heart of the Longwood Medical Area, the campus also features a brand-new on-site Acupuncture Treatment Center.
Worcester—Weekday Immersive Experience
Immerse yourself in the academic experience at the Worcester campus, where all online and in-person courses are held on weekdays during daytime hours. As NESA’s central campus, Worcester features a public-facing Acupuncture Treatment Center and a Chinese herbal dispensary.
