MCPHS Ranks Top 5 Nationally in Earnings
By Jennifer SpiraPotential lifetime income for MCPHS alumni exceeds the Ivy League and Stanford.
MCPHS graduates don’t just launch meaningful careers—they earn among the highest salaries in the nation over their lifetimes.
This year, Georgetown University’s Center on Education and the Workforce (CEW) ranked MCPHS in the Top 5 in the entire country for potential lifetime earnings, placing our graduates ahead of all Ivy League schools and Stanford University.
The news caught the attention of Fortune and Forbes, with Fortune declaring: “Not all degrees are worthless: These universities give you the highest odds of becoming a multimillionaire.”
The CEW estimates that MCPHS alumni can earn a remarkable $4.24 million over a 40-year career, but researchers note that figure is a conservative estimate since earnings tend to rise with age.
Considered the leading authority for measuring college return on investment, CEW builds its ranking list after analyzing 4,600 colleges and universities across the country. Backed by the U.S. Department of Education's College Scorecard data, CEW’s methodology calculates Net Present Value over a 40-year career, factoring in critical variables like financial aid, graduation rates, and typical time-to-degree.
