MCPHS has completed the transformation from a regional pharmacy college into a nationally ranked, world-class university with three campuses and more than 100 degree and certificate programs in the health and life sciences. Our online offerings expand our reach, bringing virtual training to individuals living around the country and the world.
A World-Class University
Hands-on learning is central to the MCPHS experience that we’ve carefully shaped. For those who attend classes on campus, our in-house clinics and treatment centers provide opportunities to interact with patients in a real-world setting. Students further hone their skills through activities with our strategic partners, which include hundreds of universities, medical centers, community health organizations, and industry partners around the globe.
Students are the epicenter of our activity. And these future healthcare leaders are gaining valuable insights from our groundbreaking Centers for Excellence, which convene important conversations and promote scholarship to address some of the most pressing issues of our time.In addition to training students, we serve the local community through our in-house clinics and treatment centers.
It’s been 200 years in the making, and yet we’re just getting started.
Being in a position of strength – including financially – has emboldened us to push the boundaries of healthcare to help make advancements that would make our founders proud. In the last 20 years, the percentage of international students at MCPHS has risen from less than one percent to fifteen percent. By keeping an eye on the big picture, we’re poised to further our role as a global leader in healthcare education as the landscape continues to change.
We will continue to embrace advances, monitor trends, and anticipate needs, finding new and better ways to evolve and meet whatever healthcare challenges the next 200 years bring. It’s passion with a purpose, fueled by our vision to make the world a healthier, more equitable place for everyone.
