First-Year Experience
- build a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, chemistry, algebra, and trigonometry
- learn the essentials of expository writing and interpersonal communication for health professionals
- explore patient and healthcare communities through the study of American culture, public life, and human psychology
Second-Year Experience
- explore the intricacies of diagnostic medical sonography
- learn the physics and instrumentation of sonography and sonography lab procedures
- study pediatric and adult heart disease, cardiac ultrasound imaging, and vascular sonography
Third-Year Experience
- build a thorough knowledge of healthcare ethics and how to apply clinical thinking in echocardiography
- participate in multiple cardiac ultrasound practicums
- gain insights into advanced echocardiography problem solving
- complete a cardiac ultrasound capstone project
