Fellowships and Residencies

Postgraduate Opportunities in Pharmacy

MCPHS offers two different types of postgraduate opportunities through the School of Pharmacy: Fellowships and Residencies.

Fellowship Opportunities

Our fellowship programs aim to expose PharmD graduates to prestigious organizations and provide them with the scientific skills, technical knowledge, and leadership experience necessary to take their healthcare careers to the next level.

Academic

Participants in our academic fellowships expand their careers by learning to apply the latest discoveries in areas like pharmacogenomics and biomedical informatics.

MCPHS Fellow

Biopharmaceutical

The fellowship program aims to foster professional development; provide intensive, hands-on training; and expose fellows to a variety of industry and academia-based opportunities.

Traditional

Our traditional pharmacy fellowships are designed to allow graduate pharmacists the ability to focus their expertise and deliver pharmacy practices which meet or exceed customers’ expectations.

Residency Programs

Residencies provide pharmacists in-depth experiences in the integration of pharmacy services with the needs of different practice settings. Residencies are typically 12 months or longer and directed and evaluated by a qualified practitioner/preceptor. Each residency program affiliated with MCPHS provides numerous large and small group teaching opportunities throughout the year.
