Designed to fit your life, it gives you the choice to study in-person at our Boston campus or online and to begin your studies in the fall or spring semester. The Boston-based program offers both a thesis and a non-thesis option. The online program is an asynchronous non-thesis course of study and is intended primarily for part-time students.

Your Learning Experience

The program is designed to be completed in two years, whether you study at the Boston campus or online. This program is STEM-designated, qualifying international students for an additional two years of OPT work in the United States.

First-Year Experience

  • study comparative pharmaceutical healthcare systems and regression analysis
  • learn about health epidemiology and quantitative methods in PEP
  • begin a graduate seminar in pharmaceutical economics and policy

Second-Year Experience

  • explore market-access pricing and reimbursement
  • complete a capstone in data analysis and presentation capabilities

Online program

The requirements for the online program are identical to those for the in-person program except in the following areas:

  • Enroll in just two courses per term if you need to fit the program around a heavy work and family schedule.
  • Take courses during the summer term so you will be able to complete the program in two calendar years.
  • An additional three-credit elective serves as a substitute for the three credits given for the thesis or the seminar requirement in the non-thesis option.
