About

Dr. Lisa LaSpina is an Associate Professor in the Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene at MCPHS. She currently teaches oral pathology, community oral health, and provides clinical instruction.

Her scholarly work includes publications on gerontology, fluoride, and oral pathology. She is a contributing author of the chapter on older adult patients in Wilkins’ Clinical Practice of the Dental Hygienist and recently published an article on community water fluoridation in the Journal of the Massachusetts Dental Society.

Dr. LaSpina is actively involved with the MCPHS student chapter of the American Association of Public Health Dentistry. She also serves as the immediate past president on the executive committee of the Better Oral Health Massachusetts Coalition and is a member of the Affiliate Committee for the American Academy of Oral Medicine.
