Andrew Szumita, PharmD, RPh

Dr. Szumita earned his Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from the University of Rhode Island in 1999. Before joining MCPHS, he worked in long-term care pharmacy, where he held roles in sterile compounding and management. He also served as a preceptor for institutional pharmacy rotations, mentoring students from both the Boston and Worcester/Manchester campuses of the MCPHS School of Pharmacy.

He currently serves as the Director of Experiential Education for the School of Pharmacy–Boston, supporting practice-based learning and student development across a range of clinical settings.
