Andrew Szumita, PharmD, RPh

Andrew Szumita is a pharmacist who earned his PharmD from the University of Rhode Island. Prior to joining MCPHS, he worked in long-term care and hospital pharmacy, specializing in sterile compounding and pharmacy operations.

He has served as a preceptor for MCPHS students during introductory and advanced pharmacy practice experiences. Andrew joined MCPHS in 2012 as an Experiential Faculty Coordinator and later became Director of Experiential Education for the Boston campus. He is a member of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy.
