About
Dr. Aimee Dawson is an associate professor and vice chair of the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the MCPHS Worcester campus. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Connecticut and completed a PGY1 community residency at Holyoke Health Center in Holyoke, Massachusetts, where she continues to maintain a clinical practice site.
At Holyoke Health Center, Dr. Dawson serves as a preceptor for Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) students and PGY1 residents completing ambulatory care rotations. As a collaborative drug therapy management (CDTM) pharmacist, she holds prescriptive authority under collaborative practice agreements for diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, asthma, tobacco cessation, and HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP).
Dr. Dawson’s professional interests include diabetes management, reproductive health, and self-care therapeutics.
