Pfizer Inc., in conjunction with MCPHS, offers a unique two-year post-PharmD fellowship program in Global Clinical Supply (GCS).
Fellowship Overview
This two-year fellowship program provides a comprehensive post-doctoral experience that fosters professional growth and develops the necessary skills for a successful career in Research and Development in the biopharmaceutical industry. During their first year, fellows will receive in-depth training in each of the following GCS functional lines and participate in rotational modules throughout other disciplines within the drug development process:
- Clinical Research Pharmacy
- Clinical Supply Operations
- Clinical Supply Strategy and Management
- Innovative Sciences Operations
In their second year, fellows will focus on projects within Clinical Research Pharmacy. Throughout the fellowship, the Global Clinical Supply fellows will be integral members of Pfizer’s Global Clinical Supply organization. The fellows will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in key functional areas that set and operationalize the clinical supply strategy, systems, packaging/labeling, logistics, as well as provide instructions and training of investigational products (IP) in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.
