Graduates who conferred their degree in December 2025 will receive their diploma via mail to the permanent address within 4-6 weeks for domestic addresses or 8-10 weeks for international addresses noted in Self-Service. A reminder was sent to graduates to review their name of record and mailing address in self-service before December 12 to ensure all information is accurate before vendor printing.

Graduates who would like to order additional copies of their diplomas are welcome to do so by visiting the order form.

A stage photo was taken of each graduate who physically processed across the Commencement stage at the December 16 ceremony at the DCU Center. The picture taken is complimentary, and candidates can direct questions to our vendor: https://www.wearegeskus.com/mcphs

The university-wide ceremonies were live-streamed and are temporarily posted here. The videos will be permanently uploaded to the MCPHS YouTube channel in the coming weeks. Please visit MCPHStv.

May 2026 Commencement Information

Our university-wide Commencement exercises will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at the Leader Bank Pavilion in Boston, MA.

Information regarding the May 2026 ceremony will be announced via email and on the Commencement website in January 2026. The May 2026 Commencement is for candidates with a conferral date of December 2025, May 2026, or September 2026, as there are no university-wide ceremonies in September 2026 or December 2026.

In preparation for the May 2026 ceremonies, candidates are asked to log in to Self-Service and review their user profile to update/adjust their personal identity information for diploma printing and their home/permanent address.

We are mindful that many of our candidates will be inviting their families to join them for the upcoming Commencement ceremonies. Although the US Department of State does not require embassy letters for the visa application process, we are aware that candidates often request this document to help clarify the reason for their visa application. As a courtesy, the Commencement Team provides a standard template that cannot be altered. The letter provided does not ensure entry to the United States or responsibility.

May 2026 candidates can begin requesting visitation letters now through April 1, 2026, by clicking here: Visitation Letter Request for Commencement – Fill out form

Some academic schools/programs will be hosting academic ceremonies that include awards, recognitions, pinning, and white coats, leading up to Commencement Day. The Commencement Team does not plan academic ceremonies. Academic ceremony questions can be directed to academic deans/directors.
