About

Dr. Heather Gallagher earned her physician assistant degree from George Washington University before completing a pediatric physician assistant residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital and Norwalk Hospital. She later earned a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and a Doctor of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Education from the University of Lynchburg.

Gallagher spent much of her clinical career practicing primary care pediatrics, family medicine and urgent care in the Manchester, New Hampshire area. She has published in JAAPA and The Journal of the Physician Assistant Education Association and has presented at state and national conferences on pediatric topics.

She currently serves as didactic faculty in the Accelerated Physician Assistant program at MCPHS in Manchester and Worcester.
