About
Dr. Gallagher earned her BS from George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, a PA Pediatric Residency certificate from Norwalk-Yale New Haven Hospital, a MPAS from University of Nebraska Medical Center, and a DMSc degree in PA Education from the University of Lynchburg. During her 30 years of clinical experience, she worked in various outpatient settings including urgent care, family practice, and her main clinical focus, pediatrics.
Dr. Gallagher has a passion for service learning and volunteerism. During the pandemic she volunteered for mass vaccination events. She was instrumental in developing a partnership with Head Start, where faculty and students from PA, pharmacy, and nursing performed screenings. The community service provided valuable inter-professional, service-learning opportunities for students from all programs.
