First-Year Experience
- build a strong foundation of knowledge of radiation therapy, radiation protection and biology, and medical radiation physics
- explore the application of healthcare delivery, healthcare ethics, clinical care, and interpersonal communication
- study statistics, clinical pathophysiology, physics, and treatment planning
Second-Year Experience
- study brachytherapy and hyperthermia and radiation therapy quality assurance
- prepare to pass the board exam by participating in radiation therapy registration review
- complete three semester-long internships in radiation therapy
