MCPHS Ranked #4 Most Transformative College in the Nation by Money

The publication evaluated colleges and universities based on their own exclusive value-added scores for graduation rates, earnings, and student loan repayment. To be eligible for ranking universities needed to
- Have at least 500 students
- Have sufficient, reliable data to be analyzed
- Not be in financial distress
- Have a graduation rate that was at or above the median for its institutional category
A total of 739 colleges and universities qualified for the ranking list.
The editors of the ranking note that it is "not surprising that elite schools report high graduation rates or alumni success. What’s impressive is when a college helps students do far better than would be expected from their academic and economic backgrounds. We call this a college’s value add."
The list ranked MCPHS ahead of other premier colleges and universities, including Babson College, Boston University, and the University of California-Davis.
The University has ranked highly on similar lists before. In fact, MCPHS was ranked the #1 University for Earning Power by the Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education College Rankings.
