Journey from Practitioner to Educator

We offer this nine-credit-hour program entirely online. It is designed for practicing dental professionals, including licensed dentists, dental hygienists, and dental assistants. This special MCPHS program builds on your previous bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene—or graduate degree in another field—and provides education methodology courses to prepare you as an educator in dental, dental hygiene, or dental assisting in a variety of educational settings. If you wish to continue your education with our Master of Science in Dental Hygiene, you may use credits from this program toward that degree. The program begins in the fall.
