Designed for working technologists, this part-time, online certificate program provides a flexible opportunity to earn a specialized computed mammography credential and advance your career in medical imaging. The program meets the structured education and clinical requirements for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) mammography exam. The curriculum can also be customized for individuals needing only the structured education or clinical experience components of the program.
Upon completion of the program and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) clinical experience requirements, you'll be well-prepared to sit for the Mammography Post-Primary Certification Exam.
Curriculum
Students must complete the following three courses:
- RSC 452 | Mammography Imaging Procedures & Patient Care (3 cr.)
- RSC 456C | Mammography Clinical Internship (3 cr.)
- RSC 450 | Mammography Board Review Course (3 cr.)
No transfer credits will be accepted for the certificate.
