About
Dr. Silvia joined the MCPHS faculty in 2001 and is currently a Professor of Pharmacy Practice. He maintains an active clinical practice at Codman Square Health Center in Dorchester, Massachusetts, where he works within integrated behavioral health services in primary care.
His practice provides medication management for patients with a range of mental health conditions. Dr. Silvia is a Board Certified Psychiatric Pharmacist and a Fellow of both the American College of Clinical Pharmacy and the American Association of Psychiatric Pharmacists. He has served in leadership roles across multiple professional organizations and was elected President-Elect of the Adult Higher Education Alliance in 2025.
