About
Dr. Patel is a graduate of MCPHS. She completed a PGY1 residency focused on independent pharmacy ownership at the University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy, followed by a PGY2 residency in geriatric pharmacotherapy at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Pharmacy.
After her postgraduate training, Dr. Patel returned to the Longwood Medical area to develop a transition of care program at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. In 2019, she joined MCPHS as an adjunct faculty member in the Community Pharmacy Practice Lab and transitioned to a full-time faculty role in 2023.
She currently practices as an ambulatory care clinical pharmacy specialist at Whittier Street Health Center in Roxbury, MA, where she manages patients with uncontrolled hypertension, diabetes, and high cholesterol.
