About

Dr. Nancy Hurwitz graduated from the Northeastern University Physician Assistant Program in 1990 and has practiced in family medicine, pediatric emergency medicine, and pediatric urgent care. She joined the MCPHS faculty in 2011 and has served as Director of Clinical Education since 2014 and Assistant Program Director since 2023.

She chairs several program committees, including the Clinical Curriculum Committee, Progress and Remediation Committee, and Professionalism Committee. In 2025, she was elected as a Distinguished Fellow of the American Academy of Physician Associates. Her professional interests include international clinical rotation development, and she enjoys travel in her personal time.
