About
Dr. Hurwitz earned her Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology from Tufts University, her PA degree from Northeastern University, and her doctoral degree from MCPHS. She has practiced medicine since 1991, with clinical experience in family practice, pediatric emergency medicine, and pediatric urgent care.
She began her academic career in 2011 and has served as Director of Clinical Education since 2013. In 2023, she was appointed Assistant Program Director of Professional Affairs.
Dr. Hurwitz brings decades of clinical expertise and leadership to her work in physician assistant education.
