About

Dr. Angela Imperioli earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada, and her Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry. After more than 20 years in private practice, she joined the MCPHS School of Optometry.

She supervises student clinicians in the Eye and Vision Center’s primary care clinic and teaches Optometric Theory and Methods and Posterior Segment Ocular Disease. Her scholarly interests include retinal imaging for the diagnosis of posterior segment disease and strategies to strengthen clinical reasoning skills in optometry students. She is a member of the American Academy of Optometry, the American Optometric Association and the Massachusetts Society of Optometrists.
