About
Jacinda M. Félix Haro is a higher education leader with more than 25 years of experience advancing student success, engagement, and belonging, particularly for marginalized and underserved populations. A first-generation college graduate, she serves as Assistant Provost for Student Engagement at MCPHS.
In this role, she collaborates with stakeholders across the institution to expand high-impact practices that support student learning, retention, and connection. Her work focuses on implementing evidence-based strategies that foster belonging and strengthen student's relationships with peers, faculty, and staff.
Félix Haro holds a BS in Communication Arts with a minor in Black Studies from SUNY New Paltz and an MAT from Sacred Heart University. She is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Massachusetts Boston, where her research examines voice and silencing among women of color in student affairs.
