About

Lisa M. Hoogasian-Klein is a physical therapist and board-certified specialist in small animal rehabilitation. She earned degrees from Northeastern University and completed advanced training through the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine.

With more than 30 years of experience in human and canine rehabilitation, she brings a unique interdisciplinary perspective to her teaching. Since 2017, she has served as an adjunct instructor in the Physical Therapy program at MCPHS, contributing to integrated clinical education and laboratory instruction.

She is the owner of Elite Paws, LLC in Lahaina, Maui, where she practices part of the year. She is a professional canine handler alongside her working dog "Koa" who currently holds multiple AKC titles. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys free diving, snorkeling, hiking and studying biblical theology.
