About

Janina Mueller is Assistant Professor and Digital Initiatives Librarian on the MCPHS Boston campus. In this role, she established the Institutional Repository, which houses scholarly works and archival materials reflecting MCPHS’s rich history. Professor Mueller instructs information literacy in the LIB LIB 111: Expository Writing, course and teaches about business resources and research within the Healthcare Business program. Her expertise in data management and data visualization enrich her teaching and research. which

Recently, she authored the peer-review article entitled “Data Visualization and Advocacy for Sexual and Gender Minority Health,” for she received the 2023 Faculty Scholarship Award at MCPHS University.

Professor Mueller is a current editor for the Journal of Critical Digital Librarianship.

Joining MCPHS in 2019, Profesor Mueller previously worked at Harvard University and the University of Toronto.
