About
Rachel King earned her BS/MS in Occupational Therapy from the University of New Hampshire. She began her healthcare career as a Nurse Assistant, gaining well-rounded experience that informs her current occupational therapy roles in inpatient rehabilitation, day habilitation, and higher education.
As an ileostomy patient for 25 years, Rachel has a special interest in ostomy management and new device integration, helping clients and their families navigate the occupational impacts of life changes. Her diverse leadership experiences led her to pursue an MBA from Fitchburg State University.
At MCPHS Worcester, Rachel serves as an adjunct faculty member, teaching Therapeutic Groups, Environments & Technologies Lab, Community Mental Health Level I, and Adult Rehab Lab.
