Nicolette Magone

Nicolette Kolgraf Magone (she/they pronouns) is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who earned her master's degree from the Boston College Lynch School of Education and Human Development. She has experience working in both higher education and outpatient mental health settings, providing therapy to individuals and couples.

Nicolette is passionate about supporting LGBTQIA+ clients and young adults as they navigate identity development, relationships, life transitions, and the challenges of emerging adulthood. Her work is grounded in cultural humility and a commitment to creating an inclusive, affirming therapeutic environment.

Nicolette's approach is collaborative, empathetic, and strengths-based. She draws from elements of Internal Family Systems (IFS), values-based therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness to support clients in deepening self-understanding and moving toward what matters most to them. She values building authentic connections with clients and believes that growth is fostered through curiosity, self-compassion, and a touch of humor.

Outside of work, Nicolette is an active musician and enjoys running with her dogs, searching for historical relics with her metal detector, and knitting. She values opportunities for creativity, exploration, and connection both in and outside the therapy room.
