About
Dr. Goss is a licensed paramedic and has spent his life serving the public. A retired Air Force Medical Service Corps/Medical Readiness Officer, Dr. Goss spent 20 years in the service, both on active duty and in the Air National Guard. He also spent 25 years with FEMA’s Disaster Medical Assistance Team (DMAT) CA-2. In this role, he responded to the collapse of the World Trade Centers, spending two weeks at Ground Zero following the attack. His background in emergency response has included responses to several significant events: Hurricane Katrina, the Haiti earthquake, Southern California Firestorms, and many others. He was sent as a subject matter expert to Ukraine, where he advised and evaluated emergency response capabilities in the region of Crimea prior annexation.
