This accelerated 32-month program at our Boston campus combines online courses and in-person courses with clinical internship opportunities in prestigious Boston area medical facilities. Our year-round format—which recognizes MRI as a distinct imaging discipline— gives you the benefit of an immersive education and speeds your career launch. Upon graduation, you will be eligible to sit for registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. The program starts in the fall.

Your 32-Month Journey

Gain critical knowledge and insights from faculty who are experts in the field as you train using the latest technologies.

First-Year Experience

  • build a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, chemistry, and calculus
  • learn the essentials of expository writing and interpersonal communication for health professionals
  • explore patient and healthcare communities through the study of American culture, public life, and human psychology

Second-Year Experience

  • develop expertise in MRI procedures, safety, and applications as well as the physical principles of MRI and the MRI patient experience
  • explore concepts in health psychology, death and dying, interpersonal communication, and healthcare delivery
  • study physics for medical imaging, clinical pathophysiology, and cross-sectional anatomy
  • complete your first clinical internship

Third-Year Experience

  • build a thorough knowledge of healthcare ethics
  • gain insights into MRI pathology, production, and quality
  • complete your second and third clinical internships
  • participate in a registry review
