Monica Chuong, PhD

Monica Chuong, Faculty Emerita of the School of Pharmacy at MCPHS (2023), taught a range of undergraduate and graduate courses, including Dosage Form Labs, Pharmaceutical Technology, Controlled Drug Delivery, Bioprocess Unit Operations, Unit Operations in Cosmetic and Food Sciences, Cosmetic and Personal Care Products, Graduate Seminar, and student research.

She held several leadership roles within the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS), including Chair of the Northeast Regional Discussion Group (2012), Leader of the Chemical and Biological Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients Community (2018), and Track Leader for Manufacturing & Analytical Characterization – Chemical for the Rapid Fire Committee (2020, 2021) and the Abstracts and Posters Committee (2022). She is also a member of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists.
