About
Dr. Maryann Cooper, PharmD, BCOP, is a Professor of Pharmacy Practice with over 20 years of academic and clinical experience. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Northeastern University and completed a pharmacy practice residency at Boston Medical Center.
Board certified in oncology pharmacy, Dr. Cooper has held clinical roles across academic medical centers. She is also a Level 1 teacher of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), integrating wellness and resilience into pharmacy education. Her mindfulness training includes extensive study through the Brown University Mindfulness Center and participation in multiple silent retreats.
Dr. Cooper’s scholarly interests focus on oncology therapeutics and the impact of mindfulness on student and faculty well-being. She is widely recognized for her excellence in teaching, service, and leadership.
