About

Dr. Carroll-Ann Goldsmith is Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at MCPHS Manchester, where she’s been teaching physiology, pathophysiology, and immunology to Doctor of Pharmacy candidates since 2004. Dr. Goldsmith received a BA in Zoology, magna cum laude, from University of New Hampshire, Durham. She began her professional career at the Center for Blood Research in Boston, studying the genetic basis for autoimmune diseases. Dr. Goldsmith earned her MS in Science Communication from Boston University and her DSc in Cell Biology from Harvard University, studying the effects of air pollution particles on the lung. Her professional experiences include conducting environmental toxicology research at Harvard University and curating a mouse genetics database at the Jackson Laboratory in Bar Harbor, ME.
