About
Cheryl Durand is a professor and former Vice-chair of Pharmacy Practice with a focus in infectious disease, and well-being and resilience. Dr. Durand is a preceptor for Institutional APPE students at Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH where she is also a preceptor for pharmacy residents at Elliot Hospital. Dr. Durand coordinates the New England Pharmacy Postgraduate Teaching and Learning Seminar for area residents and fellows. She is a board member of the New Hampshire Pharmacists Association. Dr. Durand is a recipient of the 2014 Trustees’ Award for Teaching Excellence at MCPHS and the NH recipient of the 2021 Bowl of Hygeia Award. She is also a certified mindfulness teacher, a certified yoga instructor, and offers stress management programs to faculty, staff students, residents,and fellows.
