About
Dr. Amy LaMothe, PharmD, BCPS, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at MCPHS–Worcester. A New Jersey native, she earned her undergraduate degree in biology from MIT and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from MCPHS. She completed a PGY1 pharmacy residency at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts, where she continues to maintain an ambulatory care clinical practice.
At Baystate, Dr. LaMothe precepts Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) students on ambulatory care rotations. Together with her students, she collaborates with primary care providers to manage patients with obesity, diabetes, and hypertension.
Dr. LaMothe is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist. Her professional interests include weight management, diabetes care, and reproductive health.
