About

Karen Britt is a doctoral-prepared Certified Nurse Educator and board-certified Adult Medical-Surgical Nurse with more than 30 years of experience in acute and community nursing and two decades in nursing education. She serves as a Professor at MCPHS in Manchester, New Hampshire, where she teaches Nursing Fundamentals and Community/Public Health Nursing within the accelerated BSN program.

Since joining MCPHS in 2009, Dr. Britt has contributed to curriculum development, interprofessional education initiatives, and academic governance through service on numerous university and School of Nursing committees. She also participates in professional service activities supporting science and nursing education.

Prior to joining academia, Dr. Britt served as a hospital-based nurse educator for six years. She joined MCPHS in 2009 as adjunct clinical faculty and became a full-time faculty member in 2011. She is actively involved in advancing interprofessional collaboration through the MCPHS Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education.
