About

Dr. Francis Melaragni, DHSc, MBA, CMA, CPCU, is a Professor and Director of the Pharmaceutical Business Program at MCPHS. He brings more than 25 years of senior financial leadership experience in the technology industry, with a track record of success at organizations ranging from startups to Fortune 50 companies. His expertise spans strategic finance, operational improvement, and corporate turnaround.

Before joining MCPHS, Dr. Melaragni led the financial and operational revitalization of a software firm, transforming it from near bankruptcy to one of the fastest-growing and most profitable companies in its sector.

He holds a Doctor of Health Sciences from MCPHS, an MBA from Babson College, and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Bentley University. He is also a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU).
