About
Dr. Emilie Gerber-Kunicka, DAIH, is the owner of Ascend Acupuncture & Wellness in Acton, MA, and serves as Director of Acupuncture in Family Medicine at Boston Medical Center. She also sees patients at the South End Community Health Center, where she supports individuals in recovery from substance use disorders.
An advocate for acupuncture as a holistic, integrative therapy, Dr. Gerber-Kunicka previously served as Chair of the Board of the Acupuncture Society of Massachusetts and holds a faculty appointment at Boston University School of Medicine. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and both a Master’s and Doctorate in Acupuncture and Integrative Health from MCPHS.
