About

Lisa Riley has been a physician assistant for more than 30 years, specializing in orthopedic surgery and musculoskeletal trauma. Since joining the PA–Boston faculty in 2018, she has taught across the didactic curriculum, delivering lectures in musculoskeletal medicine, acute pain management, and MSK radiology.

She developed a palpation lab for first-year students to support learning in gross anatomy and coordinates and teaches the Introduction to Public Health course. Lisa also led a national workgroup of physician assistants that developed suicide prevention curriculum for healthcare trainees, including PA, nurse practitioner, and medical students. She currently serves as Vice Chair of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention Board of Directors.
