About

Dr. Crizer earned her BSN from Fitchburg State University and received a GAANN Fellowship to complete her PhD at UMass Amherst. In 2021, she began postdoctoral studies at MCPHS and is pursuing a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

With more than 18 years of nursing experience, Dr. Crizer has worked in rehabilitation, medical-surgical nursing, hospice, urgent care and emergency department settings. She has taught at both Fitchburg State University and MCPHS and contributes across undergraduate and graduate nursing courses. She is actively involved in community emergency response efforts and manages emergency sheltering operations, reflecting her commitment to service and public health preparedness.
