About
Juan A. Gutierrez, PhD is a drug discovery leader with more than 20 years of experience advancing therapeutic programs from target discovery through IND-enabling studies. His work has focused on protein homeostasis and proteotoxic stress diseases at organizations including Dewpoint Therapeutics, Valo Health, Forma Therapeutics, the Broad Institute, and Millennium/Takeda.
Dr. Gutierrez’s research has contributed to the development of first-in-class condensate modulators, FDA-approved therapeutics, and multiple clinical repurposing programs. He also serves as an adjunct instructor in the Bioversity biomanufacturing training program at MCPHS, where he mentors the next generation of biotechnology professionals.
