Timothy J. ‘TJ’ Parker and Megan R. Brown, both 2012 graduates, will address the Class of 2026 on May 7.

Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) graduates will hear from two accomplished alumni during Spring Commencement ceremonies.

PillPack founder Timothy J. “TJ” Parker and Pfizer executive Megan R. Brown will deliver addresses during the May 7 ceremonies at the Leader Bank Pavilion in Boston’s Seaport District.

Parker, who will speak at the morning ceremony, earned his PharmD from the Boston campus in 2012—the same year he conceived PillPack and won MIT’s Hacking Medicine competition for the idea. He is a general partner at Matrix Partners, where he continues to advise and invest in health-tech startups. In 2018, Parker sold PillPack, an online medication management and delivery pharmacy, to Amazon for about $1 billion. The concept grew out of his experience delivering medications at his father Leon Parker’s, BSP ’79, pharmacy. Parker has been recognized on Forbes magazine’s “30 Under 30” list for healthcare innovators.

Brown, the afternoon speaker, completed the accelerated PharmD program on the Manchester campus in 2012. She is the senior director of medical access strategy for genitourinary cancers at Pfizer. She served 15 months in Baghdad as a chemical officer with the Army during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Brown and her husband, Joel Brown, PharmD, 2012, serve as University Corporators and fund a scholarship for MCPHS students. The couple met at MCPHS Manchester and continues to mentor students. The Browns got engaged and later married in the campus courtyard.

Spring Commencement will include both morning and afternoon ceremonies to recognize the achievements of the Class of 2026.
