Four out of the ten best jobs were in the healthcare field, showcasing promising opportunities for MCPHS graduates.

The job site Indeed published its list of the best jobs of the year. Registered nurses took the top spot on the list, and three additional healthcare jobs—optometrist, pharmacist, and nurse practitioner—made the top 10. MCPHS offers programs for all of these professions.

The top jobs were ranked based on employer demand, salary (using a baseline annual salary of $75,000), and consistent growth in the number of job postings from 2019 to 2022.

“This indicates that demand for healthcare workers remains strong as job posting trends for nearly every medical category are above the overall labor market trend,” Indeed’s Audrey Eads wrote.
