Your DHSc Journey

Designed for interdisciplinary health professionals, this program will guide you through coursework that is progressive and contemporary, incorporating modules addressing healthcare trends and challenges, population health, and quality improvement.

  • This program is designed to be completed in six consecutive semesters.
  • Complete two three-credit courses per semester. One of these courses will be a “Core Scholarship” course. The other course is a “Core Focus” or “Concentration.”
  • The core curriculum prepares you to interpret and apply evidence in practice and to establish yourself as a leader in healthcare settings and educational institutions.
  • You have the option to further specialize with one of two concentrations: Teaching and Learning in the Health Professions and Population Health.
  • The program culminates with an Evidence-Based Healthcare Capstone Project, during which you will acquire the skills and knowledge to promote the integration of evidence-based best practices into existing healthcare environments.
