Course 1: Demystifying Telehealth

Demystifying Telehealth provides a “big picture” view of the telehealth landscape. You will learn the various telehealth modalities and the benefits and barriers to telehealth adoption for a range of stakeholders. This course covers the impact of telehealth on vulnerable populations and the health care workforce while projecting what the future holds for telehealth in America. You will learn about key telehealth policy changes during the COVID-19 pandemic and efforts to ensure permanent changes. The financial model and business case for telehealth is covered, including how insurance payments are generated and important aspects of expense and revenue in telehealth implementation and practice.

This course includes self-paced content and one 60-minute live, virtual session with telehealth experts.
