About
Originally from the mountains of Colorado, Dr. Kate Deliso moved to Massachusetts to study at Wheaton College. After receiving her undergraduate degree, she completed her optometric education at the New England College of Optometry, followed by specialty training and vision rehabilitation in Fairfax, Virginia.
As the Chief of Vision Rehabilitation, Dr. Deliso brings extensive knowledge to the School of Optometry at MCPHS, including expertise in vision rehabilitation for patients experiencing vision loss due to macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and neurologic and genetic conditions. Her research interests include advanced ocular disease, inherited retinal disease, and neurorehabilitation. Dr. Deliso is passionate about the benefits of a comprehensive low vision program and is committed to promoting a collaborative approach to best address the needs of the visually impaired.
