About
Gary Monteiro is an adjunct instructor for the Bioversity Biotech Career Foundations Certificate Program delivered in partnership with MCPHS.
Following a 30-year career in biotechnology manufacturing, progressing from the production floor to Manufacturing Director, Gary now focuses on preparing the next generation of biotech professionals for careers in manufacturing and laboratory operations.
At the Bioversity training center in Dorchester, Massachusetts, he teaches courses including Career Transition Readiness, Inventory Management, and Introduction to Biomanufacturing, with topics such as GMP, quality systems, and Lean operational practices. Gary is also a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt.
