About

Dr. Alline Pacheco is a scientist with more than 14 years of experience across academia and biotechnology, specializing in genome engineering and microbiology.

She has contributed to gene-editing research at biotechnology startups including Intellia Therapeutics and Verve Therapeutics. She currently serves as adjunct faculty in the Bioversity program at MCPHS and also teaches at Northeastern University and Merrimack College.

Her research has focused on host–microbe interactions, including CRISPR screening and metabolomics approaches developed during postdoctoral training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and the University of California, Davis.
