About
Cirrus Foroughi is Associate Professor of Data Science in the School of Healthcare Business and Technology and Director of Data Science Strategy at MCPHS. An economist by training, his research examines how technology affects productivity, innovation, organizational performance, and outcomes in healthcare and life sciences. His work spans telemedicine, medical device software innovation, technology-enabled work, and the diffusion of technologies through regulated organizations and markets.
Dr. Foroughi is also an instructor at Harvard University, where he received a Derek C. Bok commendation for teaching excellence. His industry experience includes work at a leading health analytics consultancy and service as Director of Data and Analytics at Boston Children’s Hospital.
