Work collaboratively with a rich diversity of health professionals and thought leaders representing a wide range of voices and perspectives. When you graduate, you’ll be well prepared to promote excellence in teaching and learning, translate theory and strategy to the learning environment, expand the evidence base in health professions education, and link education, research, and practice in transforming healthcare systems. The online format gives you the flexibility to balance work and study, and you can start the program in the fall, spring, or summer and complete it in as little as two years.

Your Master of Health Sciences Journey

Over the course of this rigorous and diverse educational experience you will:

  • analyze and appraise the health sciences in the context of higher education, healthcare professions, and teaching and learning
  • design curricula that incorporate educational models and learning theories on higher education
  • examine and design tools for leadership of healthcare departments or organizations
  • evaluate and apply research theories and ethical practices critical to the application of advanced healthcare practice

Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences

Full-time, four-year program at our Boston campus. Choose among three tracks: general, health education, or healthcare management.

Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences — Acupuncture Pathway (BS/MAc)

Spend the first three years at MCPHS-Boston before transitioning to our Worcester campus for the duration of the program.

Bachelor of Science in Health Science — Occupational Therapy Pathway (BS/MSOT)

Five-year, full-time program on the Boston and Manchester campuses.

Bachelor of Science in Health Science — Physical Therapy Pathway (BS/DPT)

Spend the first three years at MCPHS-Boston before transitioning to our Worcester campus for the duration of the program.
