Admission Requirements

• Fall priority application deadline is May 1, 2024. Students who apply by this deadline and are admitted will receive a merit-based scholarship valued up to $20,000.
• Verified NursingCAS Application
• Official college transcripts from all colleges/universities attended
• Personal Statement
• A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university earned prior to matriculation to MCPHS

Prerequisite Courses

• Anatomy and Physiology I & II with lab (8 credits)
• Microbiology with lab (4 credits)
• General Chemistry I with lab (4 credits)
• Nutrition (3 credits) or General Chemistry II with lab (4 credits)
• Human Development (3 credits) (Acceptable courses include Human Growth & Development, Life Span Development, and Development Across the Lifespan)
• Statistics (3 credits) (Acceptable substitutions include Basic Statistics, Biostatistics, Psychological Statistics, Economic Statistics)

Linked courses are available at a discounted tuition price for deposited students through our School of Professional Studies.

Prerequisite courses must have been completed at a regionally accredited college or university with a final grade of C+ or higher. Math and science courses taken more than ten years prior to the anticipated date of matriculation to MCPHS will not be accepted. Official exam results from CLEP examinations can be used for up to 18 credits of prerequisite courses.

Once all supporting documents are received, your application will be complete and ready for review by the Admission Committee. Application materials must be sent directly to NursingCAS.
