You will gain hands-on experience through various integrated clinical experiences in the first two years of the program. These experiences complement didactic learning, allowing students to apply their knowledge effectively. They cover a wide range of practice settings including acute inpatient, acute rehab, sub-acute rehab, homecare, outpatient orthopedics, private practice, early intervention, and the school system. Furthermore, our integrated clinical education initiatives play a vital role in providing essential services to the broader Worcester community, reinforcing our commitment to practical application and community engagement.
Clinical Rotations
In the final year of the program, you will participate in three full-time off-campus clinical education experiences. Each experience is 10 weeks long: one in an outpatient orthopedic setting, one in a complex medical setting such as inpatient acute, acute rehab, subacute rehab or homecare, and an elective in the area in which you have a strong passion for.
