Admissions Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Premedical Health Studies—Medicine Pathway (BS/MD with SGU)

In order to continue on to SGU, students must earn a 3.4 GPA and complete the following courses at MCPHS with no grade less than a C*:

Linked courses are available through the MCPHS School of Professional Studies.

SGU may also require proof of English Language Proficiency.

International students and U.S. citizens or permanent residents may apply for the joint program. Transfer students and current MCPHS students are also eligible to join this pathway. U.S. citizens and permanent residents will be required to obtain a competitive score on the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT within 5 points of the average MCAT score for entering students. The current average is approximately 498. Canadian and international students do not have to submit an MCAT score unless they have taken the MCAT or have a date scheduled to take the MCAT.
